PHILOSHOPIC enables new channel for charity donations to ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ

For the first time ever in Cyprus, charity donations can be digitally executed at kiosks all over the country! The service is launching on October 3rd at the same day ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ (www.pasykaf.org –  Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients) is launching their annual street donation collections campaign named “With 2 Euros we keep going – TOGETHER IN LIFE”

Anyone visiting one of the hundreds of kiosks (convenience stores) served by Kronos Corporate Group newly launched DEAZY service can simply donate the amount of choice (2euro, 5 euro, 10 euro or multiples) directly and seamlessly to ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ all under the same receipt as their other purchases! The consumer will get a charity coupon issued by the system while in real time the beneficiary charity will have visibility of all incoming donations for audit and planning purposes!

The solution is powered by our SMASHeVouchers framework solutio, and offered through Kronos’ new DEAZY service. The concept, design and development have all been executed by PHILOSHOPIC while the deployment, operations and marketing are handled by Kronos Corporate Group.

We are honoured to support this charitable cause and proud for our contribution to the local society and those in need.  The service enables ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ to extend the channels of donation collections without requiring additional volunteers and admin cost. Further more enables availability of points of cash donation that are easy to reach 365 days a year and in most locations 24/7!

Student Spending & Budgeting – PHILOSHOPIC goes back to Uni!

On the 21st Septermber 2018, our co-founder Demetris Constantinou was invited by the University of Nicosia to deliver a seminar to new students as part of the University’s “UNIC September Orientation week.” The seminar was about “Spending Wisely” and the core objective was to get students familiar with the availability of multiple digital tools that can help them track and ultimately better manage their tight finances.

Demetris shared with the students certain statistics on why and how students spend as well as findings on the psychology behind spending and the negative impact of bad finances can have on a students performance and quality of student life. After setting the problem, Demetris shared various ideas on tools to digitalise budgeting as well as some insights into how retailers structure and present promotions to help students be more effective in selecting the best value for their purpose and budget. The seminar ended with a very insightful Q&A.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the student community, one of the most important consumer segments when it comes to innovation – these are the ultimate digital natives and the trend setters for the near future in retailing!

Our team of PHILOSHOPERS that attended the seminar, apart from feeling nostalgic on sitting in a university auditorium, was very excited to get first-hand feedback on trends and reaction to digitalisation from the young generation and we trust that apart from our objective for giving back to the society and helping students at their first steps as independent consumers we have gained great insights that will help us be more educate as we innovate in the market.

We thank the University of Nicosia for the invitation & the hospitality and we look forward for more engagements as part of the PHILOSHOPIC social responsibility initiatives.

PHILOSHOPIC at this year’s Loyalty & Rewards Conference

We are happy to announce that PHILOSHOPIC will participate in the upcoming Loyalty & Rewards Conference taking part on Wednesday 3rd October 2018, at the Hilton Park Nicosia, Cyprus.

The Loyalty & Rewards Conference aims to highlight the best practices that have been designed and implemented over the years to create, maintain and enhance lasting customer relationships. Deep-experts have been recruited internationally as speakers and the leading local decision makers around Loyalty are registered to attend – primarily from the retail, hospitality & services industries.

The Conference will focus on loyalty & rewards schemes, with special attention given to the various models and opportunities that brands can use in order to better communicate and interact with their customers, with the aim of encouraging those customers to become ambassadors for the brand/product/service and, thereby, attract new customers through valuable word of mouth.

Our very own Co-Founder and Director Demetris Constantinou will be speaking during the first half of the conference exploring the unseen angles of earning the loyalty of consumers. The speech will navigate the audience through “what we need to get right” based on our learnings and enriched with examples from our customers internationally and the millions of loyalty transactions we enable for them every day. The Geometry of Loyalty

Parents or teachers tend to reward children with a sticker when they meet a goal. That sticker declares the child as an achiever and usually there is some benefit attached. What does it take to earn that sticker from each customer and declare our business as the one they are TRULY LOYAL to? (and benefit from more revenues, profits, growth etc.) We will take a geometric approach and explore the various angles of loyalty to find out…
